Changing the Issues Displayed by Clicking the Toolbar

The keyboard up and down arrow keys can be used to change the contents of a single ColorBar cell. The toolbar provides a way to change one or all the ColorBar cells at once. Highlight the ColorBar cells you want to change. (Highlight means: Click on the cells and change the backgrounds black.)

Move down the Issue list filling the highlighted ColorBar cells with new issues.
Move up the Issue list filling the highlighted ColorBar cells with new issues.
Move to the Top of the Issue list filling the highlighted ColorBar cells with the list members at the top.
Move to the Bottom of the Issue list filling the highlighted ColorBar cells with the list members at the bottom.
Puts FastTrack for the Web in Signal mode
Allows you to draw trend lines .

Loading by Right-Clicking the Chart Toolbar

This brings up a pop-up menu with the following options: Clicking on some of the selections "checks" or "unchecks" them. These affect your charts as described below.

  • Full Span - When checked, only issues that span the width of the current chart will be displayed when you move through the Issue List using the Chart Tool arrow keys.
  • Single Class - When checked, only one class of a fund to be shown at a time (example: will not show Class A shares when Class B shares of the fund are already showing. Note: This features works only when using the up and down arrow on the Chart Toolbar.  If another class of the same fund is already charted on the screen, and then the action of the arrow will skip loading another class of the same fund into a different colored chart line.
Trends 
  • Clear All Trends - Clears all trend lines from the chart.
  • Trend extend - Checking this causes all trend lines to be extended to the end of the chart. useful especially when loading trend lines based on earlier data.
  • Click to draw trend lines .
Signals/Trades 
  • Clear - Selecting clears all signals/trades from the chart. Click for the discussion of Signals and Trades.
  • Lock - On/off switch. Checking this holds current set of signals/trades in place on Total Return and Price charts regardless of which other charts are loaded.
  • Reverse - Checking reverses the effect of  red and green signals. The signals themselves remain unchanged, but the  the Adjusted Return Charts multi-color composite return line return is affected.
  • Edit - Selecting this brings up the Signal Editor. You can hand enter and save signal sets.
